Finishes

I continue to explore/research for the best of finishes for pens and other artwork. Ultra-fine sanding is great; as are the burn-in wax polishes.
Poly is fine for glossy bookshelf items.
Renaissance Wax has a smooth feel that seems to live up to the hype.
I've tried the CA thing now and it seems promising - shine without losing the wood.
I'm interested to here what else has been used, or your favorite.
